If it looks like Duet, Tracey probably had something to do with it. From logos and client collateral to websites, photoshoots, and presentation decks, she’s the one shaping how the brand shows up in the world—elevated, editorial, and unmistakably Duet.
The eye behind the brand
“I evolve and execute the creative identity for both Duet Design and Duet Build,” she says—casually summing up what most would consider three jobs in one. Her day-to-day covers everything from logos and advertising to website design, social content, signage, presentations, and the creative direction behind every project we photograph.
“If it has a visual,” she says, “I’ve probably designed it—or reimagined it.”

The moment everything lands
The photoshoot. Always.
“It’s the moment when everything comes together—sometimes years in the making.” Walking through the finished home, watching the camera capture the nuance, seeing invisible decisions become undeniable impact—it never gets old. “It reminds me just how thoughtful—and talented—this team is.”
A project with staying power
The front-end redesign of the Duet Design website. “It was so much more than a refresh,” she says. The goal? Express the brand’s tone—livable luxury—with total clarity. That meant refining hierarchy, messaging, image curation, and user flow. “What launched in February 2024 was just the beginning. It’s still evolving—and it always will.”

Calculator at the ready
Coffee fuels the day. Her calculator fuels the fun.
“Tips, markups, design fees… I love math problems,” she says. “The team always laughs when I pull it out—but the numbers never lie.”
You probably wouldn’t guess…
She went to boarding school for three years—and no, she wasn’t “sent away.” It’s just a very New England thing.
“It gave me a love of learning, the arts, and a level of confidence that still
shapes
how I work.”
It also brought her west—to DU (Go Pios!)—and eventually to Duet.

Off the clock
Candlelight yoga (emphasis on the light part—because it’s still hot yoga).
What started as a hopeful wind-down turned into a favorite way to reconnect. “The instructor always ends with a thoughtful message. It’s become a space to reflect and reset—and I leave lighter every time.”
Why the work works
“The people.”
On the Design side: smart, creative women who bring sharp opinions, big ideas, and authentic collaboration.
On the Build side: a team grounded in craftsmanship and steady execution. “Watching both sides work together—that’s the magic. The process is tight, and the
results speak for themselves.”
Her advice to every client
“You chose us for a reason. Something in the work resonated—so trust it.”
Tracey especially loves the Programming stage—when clients do a little homework, and the team listens for what’s said (and unsaid). “It’s the foundation for every great space plan—and the reason the end result feels so personal.”
