Somewhere between the fabric samples, the freight updates, and the final photo shoot—you’ll find Abbie Jahn.
As Duet Design’s Project Coordinator, Abbie is involved in almost every phase of our work. She begins each project sourcing fabrics, rugs, and wallcoverings that bring a concept to life, and stays with it through proposals, purchasing, site coordination, and installation. When it comes to turning vision into reality, she’s the one making sure the entire team gets across the finish line—on time, on budget, and beautifully executed.
“I touch all phases of the process,” she says. “From initial selections to the install day itself, I help make sure everything flows the way it should.”
FAVORITE MOMENT? THE REVEAL
For Abbie, nothing beats install day.
“After all the months of work, it’s amazing to see the end product come together—and to watch how our clients react when they walk into their finished space.”
She leads the charge on-site, making sure every pillow is fluffed, every lamp is leveled, and every detail aligns with the vision the team worked so hard to create.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: SPICY MARG
Of all the projects she’s worked on, Abbie is especially proud of Spicy Marg—a stunning overseas install with its own set of challenges.
“It was the first international project I was involved in, and I learned so much throughout. The logistics were tough, but seeing it come together was incredibly rewarding.”
WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT GUESS
Despite working in high-end residential design today, Abbie has serious field experience: she once helped pour 25 commercial-grade concrete footers—including forming, tying rebar, and finishing. She also never leaves home without a tape measure (and we believe her).
