AUDRY ROSE JEWELRY
I recently bought a necklace from a jewelry design shop in Park City, Utah, called Audry Rose, named for the designer’s grandma. One of the best little touches is you get a letter from the owner that says, in essence, “Jewelry is the only material possession that you will never throw away.” She’s totally right. I still wear a very special ring that my mom gave me on my 18th birthday. Jewelry transcends time. I’m not talking about spending thousands of dollars; you just want good metals and good stones. My new necklace is a dainty piece that says, “This Too Shall Pass”—a powerful little reminder. Audry’s Rose’s whole collection is full of pieces you can wear for a long time and then pass down to your daughter or daughter-in-law as part of your own story.
Oribe Hair Products
I love this company’s shampoo and conditioner: It’s just…yummy. It feels boutique and special. They recently came out with this product, Serene Scalp Soothing Leave-on Treatment, which I use morning and night. I realized that my scalp needs moisturizing because it’s skin (obviously!), and this product feels so, so good.
Oak Essentials Skincare
I’m a lifelong Coloradan, so I know about dry skin. I needed a new product for my face that provides moisture from clean ingredients and without a lot of fragrance. After some digging into skincare companies, I discovered Oak Essentials. It’s from the founder of Jenny Kayne, who has done an incredible job of branding and producing consistently high-quality clothing and accessories for women. I ordered the entire Essentials line, and I swear, I haven’t worn makeup in a week. Highly recommended!
Holland & Sherry’s Approach to Wallcoverings
Kudos to Holland & Sherry — a timeless design house — for making it possible to print every single wallcovering pattern on the paper type you choose — including vinyls! As a designer, I love and appreciate this option. There are so many times when my clients and I fall in love with a print, but it’s not practical to install as a paper. If it’s not going to perform, you can’t justify the investment. For a luxury brand to recognize that durability matters is amazing.
Cozy Earth Sheets and PJ’s
Ladies, if you know, you know: Some of us just reach a point in our lives when we sleep hot. I did a little research and found this company that makes temperature-regulating pajamas and sheets. I ordered bamboo silk pajamas and love them. So then I added the bamboo silk sheet set. Double love. The company’s marketing is smart, and the product meets a need in the marketplace. Brilliant.
