Devon Tobin was born and raised in Colorado, where creativity and grit go hand in hand. As the principal and founder of Duet Design, she’s built her career on equal parts instinct and intention—blending the artistry of design with the discipline of leadership. Her work doesn’t just transform homes; it transforms how people experience living.
A natural collaborator and identical twin, Devon has always understood balance—the give and take between vision and execution, emotion and structure, beauty and function. That sensibility defines her approach to design and to life. She leads her team and her clients with clarity, empathy, and an unrelenting drive to elevate the standard of luxury living.
Since founding Duet Design in 2011, Devon has expanded the brand into a broader ecosystem alongside her husband and business partner, Caleb Tobin, integrating design and construction under one philosophy: homes should be built as thoughtfully as they’re designed. Together, they’ve shaped Duet into one of Colorado’s most respected and forward-thinking firms, known for its balance of process, artistry, and heart.
Devon’s approach is intentional and deeply human. She listens first, designs second, and leads with conviction—turning complexity into ease and vision into reality. Her work is sophisticated but never sterile, layered with emotion, restraint, and a sense of lived-in luxury that has become the Duet signature.
When she’s not leading her team or collaborating with Caleb on new projects, Devon is a proud mom to two boys who keep her grounded, inspired, and constantly creating a life as intentional as the homes she designs.
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Interior Designer (Level III) to bring creativity, precision, and passion to our team. This role calls for a designer with strong project experience—someone who can confidently develop design concepts, manage documentation, and collaborate with both clients and colleagues to deliver homes defined by livable luxury. At Duet, this position plays a vital role in transforming ideas into thoughtfully executed designs that reflect clarity, sophistication, and emotional intelligence.
Duet Design is seeking a Senior Interior Designer (Level IV) to lead high-end residential projects with creativity, clarity, and expertise. This role is ideal for an experienced designer who thrives on guiding clients through a full-service process—shaping vision, mentoring team members, and ensuring each detail aligns with Duet’s standard of livable luxury. As a senior leader, you’ll play a key role in setting the tone for design excellence and elevating every project you touch.
