It’s amazing what can happen when passionate people come together to give back to those less fortunate. The Duet Design Group Foundation, in partnership with C4 Build, is thrilled to share never-before- seen photos of the first completed apartment at the Third Way Center in Denver. This apartment is the first of 19 and the beginning of a complete transformation that will positively impact the lives of hundreds of young adults who will reside there in the years to come.
After four short weeks of demolition and construction, painting, appliance and furniture installation a fully renovated apartment came together – and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
“What drew us to Third Way initially was their treatment approach. It is all about intense therapy and addressing the mental health issues that have impacted these kids.” – Devon Tobin, Co- Founder of Duet Design Group Foundation
“The Third Way Center’s facilities are transitional “homes” for these young adults, and we as interior designers know how our homes, spaces and environments affect the way we live our lives. It is so important that these kids have a safe, warm and happy space to call home while they earn their independence and move on to continue their lives in our community. They deserve it. We all do.” -Miranda Cullen, Co-Founder of Duet Design Group Foundation
“This endeavor was a perfect match for our Foundation. Along with C4 Build, we are able to pool our energy, expertise and resources to create a huge impact on Third Way Center and its residents, making our city a better place.” – Lezlie Goldberg, President of the Duet Design Group Foundation
With 18 apartments that have not be renovated in over 20 years still to be completed, the remodel of the Third Way residential and treatment facility will be no small feat. Each apartment will cost $45,000 to fully renovate and furnish. This brings the entire project to approximately $1,000,000. The Duet Design Group Foundation sees this challenge as an opportunity and is determined to make it happen!
